Description of the Program
The OYO Homes Refer and Earn / Partner program (the “Program”) permits selected individuals and partners to earn money by recommending new owners of vacation rentals to OYO Homes. Currently, those eligible for the programme include OYO employees and registered businesses.
A successful referral means that the referred homeowner signs a contract with OYO Homes and the home subsequently gets published by us on our website (or a site of one of our partners), ready to receive bookings
The reward structure is as follows:
Reward for the referrer
$200 USD for each home referred
Program Criteria
The home should be located in the US
A reward can be earned for every new home that is referred.
Homes that have previously been rented out via OYO Homes or any of its partner brands do not qualify for the Program.
If the owner of a home already has a partnership with OYO Homes or any of its partner brands for any other home(s) he possesses, the house does not qualify for the Program.
Rewards are only allocated after the first home(s) goes live for the first time referring, meaning, if the homeowner signs new contracts with OYO Homes for additional houses at a later point in time, no new rewards will be paid.
Only homes of private hosts qualify for the Program
Inviting new homeowners
Referrals should only be made to your personal friends and contacts who you have no basis to believe would object to your communication. Referral links may only be provided to people who you know would welcome the link and for whom you are legally allowed to communicate with (i.e., you have consent or know that the recipient would want to receive your communication) . You should only contact people who have given you their consent to be contacted, and you should not solicit potential hosts who you do not know or otherwise make any commercial solicitation (i.e., no spam is allowed).
By sharing the referral link, you agree and represent that you will provide the link provided through legal communication methods and only to your personal connections who you have the legal right to contact through such communication methods. You agree and represent that you will always respect the privacy of others (i.e. do not spam), be honest, open, and transparent about who you are and the offer (i.e. do not mislead). You are only authorized to provide the link we give you along with the information we provide.
Payment
The referral payment will be paid out to the referrer as soon as the new OYO Homes home is published on the website, ready to receive bookings. The payment will be made to the bank account of the referee’s choice, provided via communication through the email address provided by the referee. Whether a pay-out is due shall be a decision made in the sole discretion of OYO Homes based on whether the conditions of this Program have been met. OYO Homes reserves the right to any remedy, including denial of pay-out or cancellation of your account, if fraud, tampering or other violations of law or these Terms are suspected.
Referees are responsible for assessing and ensuring remittance of all taxes for referral fees paid. Employees acknowledge that we may withhold applicable tax amounts or employees may be required to remit taxes separately. Referees may be required to provide OYO Homes with additional documentation, such as a W-8 or W-9 forms, which may be a condition of payment.
Term
This Program will run until December 2020 or until OYO Homes posts a message on this page that the Program is no longer in effect, whichever comes first. If a home that you referred before the end of the Program is being published on our website after the Program stopped, you will still receive the reward for the referral if we have determined you have met the required conditions.
Termination
OYO Homes may terminate your participation in the Program at any time, for any reason or no reason and without notice. The rights and obligations of the parties under these Terms will survive the expiration or termination of the Program.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OYO HOMES PRIVACY POLICY, APPLIES TO THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US WHEN YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE REFER AND EARN PROGRAM. THESE PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”) APPLY TO YOUR PARTICIPATION AND BY PROVIDING ANY REFERRAL INFORMATION TO US, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
